The ultrasound was on Wednesday morning, and we found out that we are having another boy! It was a bit of a shock to us - both Danielle and I fully expected a girl, deep down. But we are very excited - having two boys running around the house will be loads of fun! Ultrasound photos are here.
We told Theo about his new brother on Wednesday night. He was unfazed, and mostly uninterested. It’s a hard idea for kids to grasp, and he has no concept of months of time. He did enjoy coming up with name suggestions, nonsensical Theo-isms like "clofflax" and "gigigi".
Since before Thanksgiving, Theo has been enamored with the game of Uno. He wants to play the game every chance he gets, and loves the "mean card". He’s actually pretty good at the game, and wins his fair share.
He’s really looking forward to Christmas. Chick Hick is at the top of his Christmas list, since it’s the one car he wants that has been just out of reach. He will be one happy boy on Christmas morning - can’t wait to see his face!
