We bought Theo a potty yesterday and he knew instantly what it was and what it was for. This morning, I was making a fort for him out of a cardboard box - he ignored the fort and went right for the potty. He pulled it out and sat on it. So I removed his pants and diapers, and he sat on it for awhile.
After a few minutes of him sitting there, it looked like he wasn’t going to do anything, so I went in search for a clean diaper. He stayed seated on the potty. When I realized the diaper bag was empty, I ran upstairs for a new diaper - when I came down, he was still seated.
I stood him up and put on the new diaper and his pajama pants. He then tried to climb on the potty and put his foot in the potty bowl - when I took him off I suddenly realized that his sock was wet! He had peed in the potty when I was upstairs!
