Over the past week, Theo has started to actually use the signs that we’ve been teaching him! All of a sudden, he’s added "eat", "more", "dog", "fish", "bird", "water" and "TV" to his vocabulary - last week, he only knew "all done". The talking is coming along also - last night in a restaurant we showed him a flashcard with a dog on it. He immediately started looking around for Max, and when he couldn’t see him, he yelled out "Ax!"
Sleeping is finally a done deal - he’s been sleeping consistently through the night (9pm-7am) for 3 weeks now. He’s getting another tooth this week, but even that didn’t bother him for long, thanks to our good friend Motrin.
Yesterday he surprised us by climbing, by himself, all the way into his high chair, and then stood up on it! There is nothing that this kid can’t climb.
He’s also started to dance a lttle more, clapping his hands and stomping his feet when the songs tell him to. And it’s SO cute when he comes over, grabs our hand, and leads us where he wants to go. Just now he led me to the back room so I could let Max in from the yard.
Today we are hoping to take him for a haircut - he wants to look sharp for the holidays!
