Eric invited me to join Friendster, a new community-type site that has a lot of buzz around it these days. The idea is not unlike the now defunct sixdegrees.com, where you put your profile up and get your friends to join, and then you can see the profiles of your friends’ friends, or your friends’ friends’ friends, etc. It’s fun just to see the wack-ball people you end up being connected to. If you’re single, it’s not a bad idea if you want to find people to date that you can reasonably assume won’t be psycho.
